Digital literacy handbook for educational practitioners

“This handbook introduces educational practitioners to the concepts and contexts of digital literacy and supports them in developing their own practice aimed at fostering the components of digital literacy in classroom subject teaching and in real school settings.”  Futurelab introduce the downloadable resource here and go on to say that it is not intended to be a “how-to” but does provide the rationale, along with potential strategies and practical examples in real school situations.  Recommended reading.

Two Youtube clips on the page provide context for the handbook.
